I had been using Palmers Tummy Buter religiously (I am still waiting for this review suggestion to come through, it's been 2 months now so these reviews will be back to front) and it seemed to be working ... After chatting to a friend, she recommended bio oil to minimise their appearance, so I decided to give it a shot. When I had a major operation, I started thinking about what scars I would have and how they would affect me. My thoughts naturally moved towards how best to minimise said scars. I originally purchased it to see if to would help improve discolouration of the skin, but have since experimented with it for a number of uses including as a shaving oil, shower/bath oil and face treatment. The results were hit and miss. I'd returned from a beach ... Read the complete review

Bio oil, an expensive oil that claims to reduce scars/stretch marks. Costing around £8 for a 60ml bottle, its worth a try if like me, you are willing to try anything to reduce blemishes and dry skin. Pregnancys can cause some unimagineable side effects, one of these being them drasted stretch marks. These can also be caused from weight loss and weight gain. I don't care what anybody says though nothing 'gets rid of them 'orrible marks', you are just extremely lucky if you don't have any at all. Even men get them by the way and they crop up in ... I've been using bio-oil for three months now - I bought it because I have a small but persistent blemish on the end of my nose, which seemed to appear overnight about a year and a half ago. A consultation with a beautician diagnosed the blemish as a broken thread vein (although it looks more like a spot), and laser treatment was recommended. I ... Read the complete review

Fantastic multi purpose oil with a soft rose fragrance. I love the versitility of this product and I have found it to be a great help with old scars. When I first saw the advert on the telly for bio oil I thought that they were not telling the whole truth and that it probably would do some good but not as much as they were saying, that was until I tried it!
