... impressive, but I haven't found it gives me a "deep penetrating hydration experience". It's in a tiny, silvery gray, hard plastic tube. It's top heavy, because of the applicator ball, which means it falls over and rolls off tables if you try and stand it up. When you first apply it, it feels cooling and refreshing (which is partly down to the cold metal applicator ball). It tastes distinctly minty, without being overbearing or spicy in any way. It smells minty as well, very subtley. It's a nice consisten...more

Crowned Review Blistex Drench Lip Splash Liquid Moisturiser: Great product in theory, but doesn't quite cut it. (600 words)

I almost constantly have chapped or dehydrated lips so I'm never without a lip balm or similar in my pocket or bag and usually on the lookout for a new product to purchase. Most lip balms tend to leave a waxy texture on the surface of my lips only, successfully creating a barrier from any future damage but not actually helping with the dryness below, whilst a few taste so good that I cannot help but lick them off almost instantly, defeating the whole point! It was when I discovered the Blistex range that I found my lips started to greatly improve, so I didn't hesistate to try out their new product - 'Drench Lip Splash' when it hit the shelves of my local Boots ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A lip drenching let down (306 words)

In the winter my lips get so dry and damaged from the freezing icey winds I use a whole selection of lip products to prevent the peeling and painful cracks. As with so many products I try I was of course sucked in by the magic of advertising and decided to give Blistex Drench a try when it promised to soak my lips in glorious liquid and leave them smooth and full of moisture. It was quite pricey for a tiny little tube £4.50 for thimbull of "lip drench" but although the tube is very small it is quite a neat little design with a screw top so the contents will not spill out and it has a small metal roll ball applicator. It can be found in most major ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Blistex Drench Lip Splash Liquid Moisturiser: Blistex Lip Splash (464 words)

I was fortunate enough last year to be able to go skiing to Courchevel in the French alps over Christmas. Well it's useful when you have a big sister who lives and works out there!!! I know how cold it can get while on the mountain and as I am prone to getting very dry and chapped lips I decided to try-out a Blistex product that I had not seen before. I have generally been delighted with most of their other items so trusting the brand I purchased Lip Splash Liquid Lip Moisturiser. The Product The manufacturers claim that this product can rehydrate and re-moisturise lips by soaking them in Lip Splash Liquid Balm. The balm is apparently full of deep, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sorry Blistex this one doesn't work! (478 words)

A couple of years ago Dave (hubby) decided to buy me a selection of different lip savers as stocking fillers at Christmas. I always suffer from dry lips especially in winter and I feel really uncomfortable if I am unable to moisturise my lips. I keep licking them which just makes matters worse! Anyway amongst this selection was one called Blistex Drench Lip Splash Liquid Moisturiser. I hadn't tried this one before so I was looking forward to giving it a go. It comes inside a little cardboard tube attached to a small piece of cardboard upon which is written 'Blistex new' together with a picture of a pair of well moisturised pink lips. The word ...  Read the complete review

Blistex Drench Lip Splash Liquid Moisturiser. Amazon.com's Description of the product - "Roll-on sheer liquid lip balm for a deep penetrating hydration experience. The unique cooling roller-ball floods lips with sheer liquid moisture, giving them a light feel and all the sun and dryness protection you need" I bought this product when I was browsing Amazon for a new lip gloss, as I've run out and am revising for important exams so cannot go out much. To be honest, the Amazon review of it sounds quite impressive, but I haven't found it gives me a "deep penetrating hydration experience".
