Advantages: Soothes chapped lips

Disadvantages: none really- it's great

I have the misfortune of suffering from dry, cracked lips at times and nothing seems to work anymore-not even my beloved little tub of Vaseline which used to do the trick. Then a friend recommended I tried some of this - she said it had transformed her dry, sore chapped lips into a perfect pout. 'Bah humbag!' I replied, as having tried just about every other suitable lip balm and found they weren't suitable for me had turned me into a Scrooge as far as lip balms were concerned.

But as I had nothing to lose, I headed to my local Superdrug (5 minutes walk away from my home- dangerous for potential spending!) and sure enough they stocked it.

Price and packaging~
Right I'll get this bit out of the way first. The cream comes in a small white tube with blue lettering and is 10ml in size. The tube comes in a small box which is attached to a bigger piece of flat cardboard. This has a big picture of a a pair of lips looking very moisturized and not remotely dry or chapped. A tube of this cost me £1.69 which I didn't think was too extortionate compared to some prices of it's rivals.

How to use~
Once you've removed the outer packaging, unscrew the lid of the tube and squeeze (gently) a small amount of the cream onto your (clean)fingertip and rub into your lips. You don't need much as it is quite a thickish, white cream though it does absorb quickly.

Is it any good?~
Well I have been using this religiously morning and night for the past couple of days, and my lips are now soft and no longer chapped, so it is a yes. Though it's only 10ml I think the tube should last me quite a long time, as even though I am applying it regularly you only need such a small amount that it hasn't made a dent on the tube which still looks full and untouched. The tube is small so fits in bags without being bulky (sorry little tub of vaseline!) so is ideal to have on you at all times.

Miscellaneous~
Blistex intensive moisturiser is dermatologically tested and has the added bonus of containing an SPF of 10.

Summary: Keep a little tube of this in your bag it's a godsend for chapped lips
