I don't know what I would do without this product! I suffer badly with my lips, sometimes they are too dry, sometimes they are red raw because I have used too much lip balm on them. Because of this, my lips take a terribly long time to heal. If my lip cracks it can take up to 3 weeks to heal on its own. All other product have done nothing to help when I have cracked lips, until I found this. I put this product on my lip where it had cracked before I went to bed. When I woke up the next moring, my lips had healed, not completely, but they didn't hurt asmuch anymore, and I could eat without any discomfort. I used it again that night and when I woke up the next morning, ... Read the complete review

When I'm at Uni from September to May and I have to get the train at 7.30 in the morning, fighting through howling gales and gusts of snow and rain, my lips do tend to suffer a little. The cold weather dries them out and they end up all cracked and sore. Also, I have a tendency to bite my lips when I'm stressed with assignments and placements etc. My little group of friends at uni have all discovered Blistex Relief Cream. Each one of us always has a tube in our bags during those winter months. Packaging ------------- The little tube of cream comes in a small flat cardboard holder with a little rectangular box to hold the tube of cream. The ... Read the complete review

When my lips are chapped beyond all repair or a cold sore has launched it's attack I reach straight for Blistex Relief Cream (formerly Blisteze) then it won't be long before my chappy lips are happy lips! When there's so many lip balms / creams / lotions / potions etc to choose from it's hard to know what's worth the pennies in your purse. Blistex Relief Cream is one of them. Currently £2.19 from Boots, you get 5g, it comes in a metal tube with a red cap, on the shelf it'll be in a box and if it's side by side the rest of the Blistex range it's the one with 'HEALING' on the front (they are all very similarly packaged). As I said this used to be ... Read the complete review

I've written a few reviews on lip-related products now, so you may know I'm a bit of a lip balm junkie and cold sore sufferer. I thought I should write a review of Blistex Relief Cream because it's one cream I always have to hand and one which I always find works on my sore lips. Blistex, in the form of Blisteze, has been around ever since I can remember and it's something that was always in the bathroom cabinet when I was growing up. As I grew up, and especially in my teenage years, I branched out and went for the more expensive and higher-end products, but as I've grown older and wiser (!) I've reverted back to Blistex because it just can't be ... Read the complete review

Blistex is a relief cream for the lips. It is a medicated cream for the treatment of cold sores, cracked, chapped and sore lips. It's intention is to heal cold sores and to sooth lips and make them softer and smoother when causes such as the cold weather makes them sore. I have a nasty habit of picking the skin off my lips. Kind of like biting your nails, I do this when I'm stressed or tired. Nasty I know and it can be quite painful. Once I start I can't stop and I end up making my lips red and sore and occasionally I even make them bleed. Obviously once I'm finished, as well as hurting like hell, my lips also look hideous! My mum also has this horrible ... Read the complete review
