I have quite strange skin, it can go from a combination to dry to oily to normal in weeks. So trying to find the right skin care routine can be difficult. However one of the things I have always suffered from is blackheads. You could easily do a dot to dot on my nose!! I have tried everything from scrubs, strips, pen tubes, baking soda, brown sugar paste and cleansers. Nothing worked they just stayed there stubborn as ever! I then heard of the Body Shop blackhead remover and thought well I might as well give it a shot. At about £2-3 I thought if this works it cheaper than buying the strips. It a pole with two hoops at either end one small one and ... Read the complete review

I bought this product many years ago and never had any success with it. However, yesterday I bought a facial sauna and suddenly it dawned upon me that perhaps I had not been using it correctly and that with the aid of heat perhaps I would be completely blackhead free. I don?t often get bad cases of blackheads, but when I do get a couple they REALLY bug me to the point that I normally jab and poke at them until they are gone but the surrounding skin is left red and sore. This little tool looks like it just might do the job ? it?s a small, plastic handled piece of metal just a little bit longer than your ... Read the complete review

For the longest time I refused to get this because it looked painful and scary, more like an operating tool, however after no such luck with other products, I decided to take the plunge. Initially, I just got home and poked it at a blackhead in the feeble hope it will pop pain free and dissapear - wrong, it didn't pop and was very painFUL. I gave up until a few days later I tried again, nope, I had oily skin; slipped straight across my face. What a disaster! This little operating tool thing hadn't cost me much, but the fact that it hurt every time I used it was definately not the nicest. A friend suggested that I exfoliate my skin and then use it, ... If you suffer from rather unsightly blackheads like my teenage sons, let me describe a very useful and cheap little device from the Body Shop called a Blackhead Remover It looks like a tiny spoon with a long handle and in the the middle of the bowl there is a hole (excuse the rhyme). Before using the device one must wash one's face in warm water to loosen the pores. Now, sitting in front of a mirror place the bowl hole around the blackhead and press firmly. The blackhead simply gives up and appears in the bowl. There is a natural instinct to inspect the uninvited guest which, if you must know, looks exactly like a small maggot. It is ... I bought this thing about 6 months ago, and I still haven't got it to work for me yet. I have tried it after a shower, so my pores should be open, but the thing does nothing for me! I push so hard into my skin that all i am left with is little red rings around my spots! lol yuk! What you get for your money is a little silver handled metal thing. Tiny really. There is a rounded end with a small hole in it, and this is what you place over your spot. Anyway, I'm still left with my blackheads, and this little gadget is left sitting idle in my drawer. It seems like such a quick and simple idea. I just wish it worked. I suppose I haven't ... Read the complete review
