Advantages: Temporarily reduces marks, feels like it protects skin
Disadvantages: Price, short term effects
A pre moisturiser serum?!
The Body Shop have a large vitamin E range and this serum is a recent addition to it. I have always found the Vitamin E range hasn't worked as well as I hoped. It leaves skin rejuvinated and feeling fresh - but doesn't seem very active. This does actually seem to have some redeeming qualities!!
Not the price though - this is £10 for 30 ml!!!! I appreciate that that is not a high end brand price, but for something that isn't a cleanser, toner of moisturiser I think that's alot.
It comes in a little simple cylinder bottle with a transparent pump mechanism on top. The label is white, the serum itself is an off pink!!!
It does have a scent, I'm not sure what Vit E should smell like but this smells fairly floral - magnolia and vanilla mix!! The Body Shop have probably added this - there is a Citronell listed on the ingredients.
The product itself when squeezed out has a pearly tint to it. It feels quite like a moisturiser, but seems to have an effect of barriering the skin - it feels almost like a gloss over it protecting it. It does also seem to reduce bumps and dips (spots and lines) on the surface, but doesn't last more than half a day.
Summary: An interesting product. I don't think it doe enough for long enough to be a part of my skin regime
