I started using this toner after having rosewater recommended to me by a friend as a way to tone down redness in the skin. I have been using it morning and evening now for a few months and the colour of my skin has become a lot more even. I've found that it doesn't sting like a lot of skincare products tend to on my face - which is pretty sensitive - and it smells really nice - it has a definite rose scent. Being organic is a plus but not something that I find essential. I can't tell if this has made a difference to the product or not - I'd need to compare it with a non organic version. As a supposed cosmetics junkie, I have a confession to make: until recently I did not believe in using toner. When I was younger toning seemed to be a massively unnecessary step in the skincare regime and nearly all toners I tried seemed far too harsh for my slightly sensitive combination skin, stripping the dry patches of moisture. However, when I began using a cream cleanser again recently rather than my usual facial wash I found that I felt the need to use toner to ensure that every last bit of dirt and cleanser had been removed from the skin.
