I've been using this product for years now and I honestly can't fault it! I've always bought into the Clean & Clear range and they are now one that I really trust as every product I've bought of theirs just delivers over and over again.

It's an absolute nightmare when you wake up excited for the big night out you've got planned that night and hurriedly run over to the wardrobe to think about and re-think your outfit when suddenly you notice it - that devious lurker, lingering somewhere just underneath your skin! NOOOOOOOOOOO! You don't want to squeeze it because, as our mother's always told us "That'll make it worse!" and we all know that toothpaste really isn't a good way to go...so, what to do? I recommend you buy Clean & Clear Advantage Quick Clear Treatment Gel.

The formula has some great packaging - a great little purple and silver box holding the tube inside. The packaging feels really expenisve, juts like you're buying one of those pricey serums or something...just for a fraction of the price. The tube is a dinky size (perfect for handbag or make-up bag) and you may not think you're getting a lot for your money but trust me, it goes a long long way! You only need to use a tiny about on each affected area to get great results.

Clean & Clear claim that this product will reduce the look of spots within 4 hours and I'd have to agree - okay you're not going to get amazing results if you have full on acne so don't be fooled that this can in any way rival a medicated formula for serious cases - think of it more as a handy make-up trick for the occaisional break-out.

The first thing I love about this product is the feel of the gel. It's really silky and dries almost instantly when rubbed onto your skin with a nice, slightly tingly feel to follow. This product obviously contains an astringent so if you have badly dry skin I wouldn't recommend it as it may irriate more than help.

Another great thing is the smell! It's not a nasty, medicinal smell but instead smells like a fresh and flowery perfume! REALLY LOVELY!

Once dried, the gel forms a sort of 'barrier' over the spot and allows you to easily apply make-up and concealer over the top (without bacterial contamination of your brushes and products!). Even though it sort of 'seals' the spot in, it doesn't ever feel tight or uncomfortable. The gel also seems to anaethetise the area so that painful, swollen spots are no longer noticable along with the redness being reduced.

This is a fab little product - for men and women alike and at around a fiver a tube (which lasts FOREVER) you can't go wrong!
