I first bought this when I was sweet 16 or round about that age, and started to work out that I needed to cleanse, tone and moisturise, and have carried on using this products right up until my 23rd year.

The product comes in 150ml bottles, all different shades of green, with the boots logo, stating that it is cucumber and that it is suitable for all skin types. The cap is a screw top with the flip top cap on top for no spilliages.

Upon opening the bottle and taking in a deep sniff of the fragrance, I cannot say that it smells like cucumber as I dont sniff cucumbers very often but I can say that it has an extremely clean yet refreshing scent, almost fruity. I cannot detect a chemical smell or anything in this product.

Squirting a bit of the liquid onto a cotton wool pad, it is a very pale green colour. Wiping the pad across my right cheek, it seems very cold, although I store this in my spare room on my dressing table, and its not exactly cool in there. This could be due to the cucumber content.

The scent is clean and fresh and not too overpowering. The cleanser seems a little sticky when it is first applied to your face, but this dries and the feeling subsides very quickly.

My skin feels instantly softer and I feel refreshed and awakened. The amount of gunge and dirt that has been extracted from my skin is disgusting. And to think that I only had a shower 2 hours ago!

The beauty of this product is that it is a 2 in 1 product - a cleanser and a toner all in 1! I still buy a seperate toner for those days when your skin really needs that extra kick in the backside, but just using this 2 in 1 is fine and you will find that you will very rarely need another toner.

It is very reasonable priced in boots, around £1.49-£1.79 per 150ml bottle, but you only need a small amount as it lasts for ages. You are also saving money on buying 2 products.


I sincerely commend Boots on this product and would recommend this to potential buyers. It is suitable for all skin types, and I have never had any problems with my combination but very sensitive skin on my face.
