Advantages: My skin looks more radiant and healthier, not a bad price

Disadvantages: Can sometimes drip down my fingers as a result of the quite thin consistency

I usually use a separate cleanser and toner, but I decided to look for a combined product to save me some time and effort - especially in the mornings when time is not plentiful! Having used a Boots Cucumber product in the past, I opted for this 2 in 1 product.

***The Product***
The product is green, as you might expect from the fact that it is from the Cucumber range. In terms of consistency, it is a bit like a thin gel and can be quite runny. When I tip some out onto the cotton wool and start using it on my face, it has a bit of a tendency to drip down my fingers, which can be rather annoying.

***The Results***
I tend not to wear foundation on a daily basis, so I can't really comments on its make-up removing qualities. It does remove my blusher easily and a couple of wipes across my face does the trick for that. Since I started using this product, my skin looks more radiant, which I'm putting down to the cucumber. I still get the odd spot, but this product seems to remove lots of excess oil from my skin if the state of the cotton wool afterwards is anything to go by. My skin looks and feels a lot cleaner afterwards too.

***The Price***
A 150ml bottle costs £1.46. I've paid more than this in the past for products that don't seem to do a particularly good job and as this is a combined product, I consider this price to be pretty good value.

***Overall Thoughts***
I like the clean feeling that this product gives my skin, and the fact that my skin looks more healthy. The main downside for me is that it tends to drip down my fingers as the consistency is quite runny at times, but I am fully prepared to overlook this given that it really suits my skin. My current bottle is still three-quarters full after a few weeks of using it, but once it runs out, I will definitely be buying a replacement bottle!

Summary: My favourite combined product!

Susan - I haven't tried the Tea Tree and Witch Hazel one but it sounds like it could be good for my skin. Thanks for the tip - I'll keep an eye out for next time I've got Advantage points to spend! x

It is too much of a gel consistency for me I prefer the Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel one, Susan
