Boots Essentials Cucumber Eye Make Up Remover Gel

Well, all I can say is I *DO NOT* recommend this product! Yes its cheap but its really not worth it. The application is fine, it does remove make up pretty easily, and the smell it quite pleasant too, but its cheap for a reason thats what we have to remember. This is EYE make up remover gel, so you'd think it wouldnt be gentle on the eyes, oh no. It STINGS so bad, If i get in in my eye by accident I have to wipe it all off and get a damp towel because it hurts so much. Also I break out in spots everytime I use it, and my skin is red afterwards and feels dry and actually quite sore. I have half a bottle left and am not using it anymore.

As Ive mentioned on previous reviews the only eye make up remover I really rate is the No7 brand of remover. BUT it is very expensive so I do keep shopping around for a cheaper alternative that delivers the same fantastic results. As this is part of another range at Boots I was hoping it would be the cheap answer to my prayers,but unfortunatley it wasnt to be! Application: This part is pretty easy. This is a weird make up remover gel because it's nice to use and removes all my make up, but it makes the skin round my eyes go red and feel a bit delicate afterwards. Because of it being a gel it's very cool and refreshing, it smells quite strong of cucumber and that's wicked because I love the smell of cucumber and I think this one has got a very natural smell. I've used nearly a full bottle now and every single eye make up I've used has come of quick and easy using this gel and a ball of cotton wool. I have always been a big fan of the Simple Skin Care Range. I have always used their make up remover wipes and for a long time I used their cleanser, toner and eye make up remover. I purchased this as after being unsatisfied with another eye make-up remover I was using. The price was very appealling - just 1.49 GBP. I was also attracted because this was a gel, which seemed refreshing, and because I like cucumber fragrances. The packaging also states that it is suitable for all skin types. My experience is totally different to what I've read on other reviews, as I was totally disappointed with this product.
