I bought Boots No7 awakening eye gel as I needed a cream to sort out puffy, tired eyes (and I had a voucher so couldn't resist). The lady at the counter advised me to get this eye gel and told me to pop it in the fridge to give that extra cooling effect. I tried it and was very happy with the result. It does indeed feel nice and cooling and wakes up the eye so it comes out looking brighter and wide-eyed.

I'm also a huge fan of the protect and perfect range and find that this works well with my protect and perfect beauty serum. I keep this in my fridge and apply when needed. Some days you wake up with puffy eyes or arrive home from work, not looking as awake as you would like. This is an excellent solution to that problem. I also like to use a gel eye mask that I've popped into the fridge for 5 to 10 minutes to wake up my eyes. However, I don't always find the time to do this and this cream is an excellent substitute or complimentary product to use along with the gel eye mask.

Summary: very good eye gel that cools the eye
