The toner has a green tinge to it and is fragrance-free and hypo-allergenic. It is also alcohol free and pH balanced. It is designed to refresh your skin, remove traces of make-up and cleanser and leave your skin looking healthy, beautiful and clean. Directions are simply to apply some to cotton wool after cleansing and then sweep it over your skin then finally moisturise. I have to ...more

I’ve always trusted Boots products as it’s one of the best shops around. I was in boots one day and I topped up my phone and they gave me a £5 off voucher on No7 products. To be honest I had never bought No7 products because I thought the products were too expensive. However because of the Voucher I just had to try out one of the products. I therefore went into a Boots store to look at the offers on No7 products. Because I had run out of my make-up remover I just thought I would buy this product. It was actually one of the cheapest products on the shelf. Because they were doing an offer of buy 3 for 2 I also bought foundation and another bottle of No7 ...  Read the complete review

It is only in the last year that I have started using Boots No7 products more regularly. I had a £5 voucher to spend on the No7 range which prompted me to try a cleanser from their range and then as I liked this I have bought several other products. The product I am reviewing today is the No7 Beautifully Balanced Purifying Toner which is designed for oily/combination skin. It comes in a 200ml bottle with a lift off cap and a pump dispenser. It is quite a simple but nice looking plastic bottle with no pictures just some writing. The bottle has a pale green shimmery colour to it. I like the pump dispenser it allows you to dispense exactly the right amount ...  Read the complete review

As I grow older, more and more I have come to appreciate the importance of a good daily skin routine. It has taken me quite a while to find the right products for me and my skin, but I do find that I'm very happy with the Boots No. 7 Beautifully Balanced range. I use both the cleanser and the toner and it's this toner that I find particularly good for my skin. Using a toner is particularly important for deep cleansing your pores. It hydrates and balances the ph of your skin and is an important step before using a day or night time moisturiser. Apparently toner is also an effective fixative for make-up. The Boots No 7 cleanser is called a purifying ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review After cleansing, now tone (639 words)

I do like the Boots No. 7 products, and have used them on and off for a number of years, the products changing as my skin changes. This, however, is one of the products which I have used for a number of years, and will probably continue to do so. **The Promise…** This purifying, hypo allergenic toner is pH balanced and alcohol and fragrance free, and will remove all the last traces of make up and cleanser It apparently cools, refreshes and leaves your skin shine free, all of this without drying your skin. Great idea, as there are few things as unpleasant as skin which has been left completely tightened up by ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Boots No 7 Beautifully Balanced Purifying Toner Oily/Comb: Great for sensitive skin! (224 words)

Having quite sensitive skin, I've recently been having a lot of trouble finding facial skincare products that don't irritate my skin, particularly around my eyes. Wearing a fair amount of eye make up (particularly mascara and eyeliner), I've found this to be a problem, as it was a case of removing all my make up led to a fair amount of irritation, and avoiding the irritation led to panda eyes when I woke up in the mornings! I purchased this as my first No7 skincare purchase on a whim a couple of weeks ago using one of the brilliant £5 No7 vouchers Boots were giving away with any purchase. It is a little pricey, coming in at £7.50, but getting my first one at ...  Read the complete review
