Advantages: Well known brand, Readily available in Boots stores

Disadvantages: Maybe a bit pricey!

Last New Year, I selfishly went in to my local Boots store, looking at all the reduced stuff to put away for this Christmas. Don't we all!?! I came across a little gift set for Boots No 7 Daily V. The box contained a 10ml tube of Intensive Sauna Treatment, 15ml bottle of Dual Action Eye Make Up Remover, 10ml of Essential Moisture Cream and two money off vouchers, specifically for use with these products. The set was priced at £4.50 half price so I guessed the full sized products would maybe be a bit pricey for me, being a single mum and skint!! I thought what the hell, and gave them a go. I never looked back and I thought , ' Hey, sod the cost, its my skin!!'

I have used the Moisture Cream ever since!! Two full size tubs later and I am still pleased with it! It costs around £7.50 for 100ml but it is worth it, if you know your skin is in good shape!

Decription

Essential Moisture Cream containing Vitamins E and F and also Pro-Vitamin B5, most commonly known for use in Shampoo, Suitable for dry/ very dry skin. It is dermatologically tested, fragrance free and Hypoallergenic so ideal if you have funny skin!

The cream is pale pink and quite firm without being heavy. Fluffy but not too light, if that makes any sense at all!

Action

Intensive moisturise cream to condition your skin leaving it soft supple and nourished.

Vitamin E is a well-known anti-oxidant to help condition and protect the skin.

Pro-Vitamin B5, otherwise known as Panthenol, is also a well-known conditioning ingredient. If you trust it on your hair, why not give it a go on your face!

I tend to use the cream on a morning but not at night. I use a separate night cream at this time.

After application, you do not have to wait long before applying make-up. It is only slighlty greasy if your skin is is in particularly good condition, and needs less moisturising! As I said , it is for dry/very dry skin so it
may be an idea, as I do, to have another cream that you alternate. This ensures that your face is getting only what it needs and not too much!

The cream is packaged in a stubby opaque white square pot, with a white lid. It is labelled in gold with No 7. I must add too, that it states, (just to be sure) 'This jar is of double wall construction'. !!!! I couldnt imagine who would want to know this but it says it on the bottom!!!

Looks quite regal against some other brands of creams on my dressing table! With my other items in the same range, they look quite smart! Sad aren't I!

Any way have a try and see what you think!! If you have another cream you think is better, drop me a line and Ill try it too!!
