After being delighted on finding lots of mainly unused beauty products in my chest of drawers over Christmas when I was back at home, they actually just ended up sitting in a bag under my bedside table for a few weeks while I forgot about them. The other day, however, I decided to have a rummage through it to see if there was anything in there actually worth using, and amongst other things, found this bottle of No7 Toner. I'm pretty sure that I got this free as part of a set a few months ago, as No7 always seem to be giving stuff away for free, but had never actually got around to using it as I never really use toner. I decided to finally give it a go the other day ... Read the complete review

As a rule I don't often use toners but as I'm now mid-thirties I'm trying to pay more attention to my skin. My skin is quite dry and prone to flaky patches so I usually avoid anything that might dry it out further, however if I use a cleanser I follow it with a toner. At Xmas I received a big box of No 7 skincare goodies so I'm trying them all out. The No 7 Soft and Soothed Gentle Toner comes in a 200ml bottle, has a pump type dispenser and the toner itself is pink liquid. It tells us it "refreshes, comforts and hydrates" and it's hypo-allergenic and suitable for normal and dry skin. It is alcohol free and to use it "sweep a small amount ... Read the complete review

I love No.7's soft and soothed cleanser and have been using it for years, and not long after I first started using it, I also purchased a bottle of their soft and soothed toner to go with it. I remember when I first started using this, I had used it once or twice, and then noticed that I had come out in a few spots, so I put it down to the toner, and relegated it to the back of the cupboard. I always thought that toner was just really a product to remove any traces of cleanser from your face, and was a bit of a marketing con by the manufacturers, a relatively useless product, that they sell alongside their cleansers to make an extra profit. I then read ... Read the complete review

Last Christmas I got lots of Boots No7 goodies and one of these was the No.7 Soft and Soothed Gentle Toner which is designed for dry skin and which Boots say will refresh, comfort and hydrate skin. The toner comes in a 200ml bottle with a lift off cap and a pump dispenser. It has a pinkish shimmery colour to it. The pump dispenser allows you to dispense the right amount you need so its quite good that you don't waste as much as you might with a normal bottle. The toner has a pinkish tinge to it and is of watery consistency. It is fragrance free, alcohol free, hypo allergenic and pH balanced. It is designed to refresh your skin, remove ... This is essentially a toner. It is named "soft and soothed" as its aim is to soften and smooth your skin, and is part of the Boots No.7 skincare collection. It retails at £7.30 in all good Boots stores right now (March 2009). I was given this, as part of the Boots skincare gift set. I also used with it, the cleanser and essential daycare /night care moisturiser so I am just for the sake of following the "rules" not reviewing this as a result of any mixing and matching, I have followed the instructions to the T. Boots state on their website, that this product is PH balanced, and it aims to 'refresh, comfort and ... Read the complete review
