Boots No7 cleanse and care Eye Makeup Remover.....


I do spend a lot of money in my local Boots and when I realised I had accumulated five of the £5 money off coupons, redeemable when purchasing anything from the Boots No7 range or Ruby and Millie, (which Boots on the Isle of Wight do not stock) I decided it was time to spend a little a get a lot.

This Eye Makeup remover is priced at £7, which is a lot more than I would usually spend on this type of product but when using the £5 money off coupon it worked out only to cost £2, therefore making it cheaper than my usual buy. You get 100ml in a lidded pump action pot and the liquid held inside shows a lovely blue colour through the clouded colouring of the container.

Using the product itself is pretty simple and like most eye make up removers where you have to pump a little of the product onto a cotton wool pad and gently wipe away all the makeup from on and around your eyes. The pump action of the bottle was easy to use and I found I used the right amount rather than if the bottle was just to pour onto the pad, I usually use far too much.

You do have to give the bottle a good shake up before use as the eye makeup remover is made from a part oily substance that will settle when it has been standing. The product is a very light blue colour when pumped onto the pad and to touch with my fingers did not feel as greasy as I had initially thought it would. Following the instructions and wiping my product soaked cotton wool pad across my eyes, my makeup was removed wonderfully.

This product really does work well. Every single trace of my make up was removed by using just one cotton wool pad and even when I used a second cotton wool pad there was nothing more that came away as it had all been removed on the first attempt.

The product was very gentle to my eyes and because I wear contacts and have fairly sensitive eyes I though it may irritate my eyes like other products of this type I have tried. This was not the case however as the packaging states that this is suitable for sensitive eyes and has been dermatologically tested!

I am rating this product a 4 star rating because it really worked well. A little of the product seemed to go quite a way and I have been using it for a few weeks now and it hardly looks as though it has been used. The product is gentle on my eye area but still does what it should do quickly and very efficiently.

A great product even though it is on the expensive side for me if they issue the £5 money off coupon again I may well stock up on it. Recommended.
