No 7 Protect and Perfect Intense Beauty Serum was launched a couple of months ago, as a sister to the existing Protect and Perfect serum. It is actually the Refine and Rewind serum, aimed at older skin and re-named (not sure why they needed to do this). I have used the basic serum since it was featured on the TV and had all the ensuing publicity, so I was very interested to see how the intense version would compare. I have been using the basic No.7 Protect and Perfect Beauty serum for some time (although I stopped for a little while), and was quite happy with the results of it. I was however quite excited when I heard that they were bringing out the "Intense" version as I imagined that it must be even better than the original. The product is £19.50 for 30ml, contained within a glass bottle which has a white screw lid and a pump dispenser. The pump dispenser also has a little plastic protector to stop you accidentally squirting it when you don't want to. I really like this product. It's really easy to rub on, feels nice but isn't greasy. I also think my skin looks better - smoother and rosier since I started using it. It doesn't have a particular smell but it doesn't smell horrible. It says put on morning and night but I've just been putting it on before bed - if you were older it might be worth doing both. I'm only 26 and relatively young looking for my age, so not sure how good it is at wrinkle busting but hopefully prevention is better than a cure!
