Does the opposite of what it says on the tin! (Boots No7 Protect and Perfect Lip Care)

Disadvantages: Expensive, doesn't work, and iworst of all, it actually hurts!!!

I love the No 7 range and have tried most of their products yet I was very suprised by this item.... and not in a good way!

I bought this item last october as my lips were getting a little dry and I needed to buy an extra item to get one of No 7's famous goody bags.

It is in a tall, slim plastic tube which is very in keeping with the rest of the range.

It is a small 10ml tube but as you use so little each time it will last quite a while. Well, it would do if it didn't have a 6months expiry tag.

the product itself is a very soft white cream that rubs in quickly and easily. When you rub it in it feels like your lips are coated in one of those clear face masks you can get that peel off all in one. You don't want to open your mouth incase it cracks!

I first tried this when my lips were extremely dry and it really stung so I had to wipe it straight off. I've not got particularly sensitive skin so this suprised me. The next day my lips were worse than when I'd started.

I tried it again a few days later when my lips had recovered (thanks to another brand - review may be on it's way) and it wasn't as bad. It didn't sting my lips but it did seem to make them drier than before which is the effect you are trying to avoid!

I just tried it again for the sake of this review when my lips are in good condition and it is the same, a little like a mask but not really helping.

Very disappointed with this product and at £9 it's an expensive mistake. It may just be me but I was very disappointed with this product, especially since I'm usually very happy with the N0 7 range.

Summary: Not that great, don't buy!
