Smelly tea tree! (Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Foaming Face Wash)

Advantages: A squirt of foam goes a long way

Disadvantages: Doesn't necessarily prevent spots

I have been replacing this product every time it runs out for the past 2 years prior to my new beauty regime and never had a problem with this.

Foam:
Prior to this I had no idea about foam washes and, OK maybe it's just me, I found the whole experience from liquid to foam just from a pump at the top amazing! The novelty, however, wears off after a while and it becomes just a simple face wash. However, saying that, surprising the small bottle can last a long time (approx 3 months if used carefully). One squirt of foam can wash the whole face and if you're particularly enthusiastic, the next and ears.

Smell:
Tea tree is not my favourite smell in the world and this face wash is full of it so be prepared for the strong smell to go up your nose and stay on your face for at least a good 2 hours or so. However, the smell is not unpleasant and can be quite refreshing.

After using this, my skin does not feel dry and is very refreshed. However, I'm not sure if it really does prevent spots because despite using this everyday (and having a fairly good diet), I was still getting spots. Perhaps the tea tree percentage is not very high in this product - hence the lack of preventing spots!

Summary: Good price but doesn't really prevent spots.
