I found this product whilst looking for Biore products in Boots and thought it sounded good. The gel costs £2.99 for a 75ml tube and it currently on offer for a for £5.

I have problem skin and from time to time get bursts of spots so am constantly on the look out for the next product claiming to be a miracle cure. From experience I've found the products with those sort of claims as a general rule do not work. This product is a Boots own brand, and for the price compared to it's brand rivals, it's worth it. The claims on the pack are as follows-

Keeps you skin clear and healthy by...
*working intensively while you sleep
*fighting spot-causing bacteria
*lightly moisturising and caring for your skin without blocking pores

The directions tell you to blend it into your skin before you go to bed, after cleansing. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I love it. I can't say it's a miracle cure but it has made a difference to my complexion.

The best thing about it though is the sensation when you apply it. It's so cooling and refeshing that I've taken to using it at other times not just at night. When I get in from work I take my make up off and then apply this. It really refreshes the skin after a tough day.

The gel is part of the Tea tree and witch hazel range at Boots. I often find that Tea Tree products smell very medicinal, however this gel has a lovely soft fragrance.

Yes, it's another product on my dressing table, possibly non essential. However I actually enjoy using this product. I love the smell and the sensation, plus it doesn't break the bank. So if it imporves my complexion, will that's just a bonus! It's doing well so far, the real test will be when the spotty results of my christmas chocolate consumption show up!
