I have trouble finding a cleanser to suit my skin. There you are a statement that’s short and to the point! Seriously though I do have problems because I don’t like cleansers that come in the form of creams or gels as they make my skin feel greasy and less clean rather than cleaner! The sort that I like are the astringent ones which are water based. It was with this in mind that I was looking in Boots the other day and I came across their Tea Tree and Witch Hazel range, and sure enough the cleanser looked just what I was looking for. I was pretty sure this one would suit me so I took a chance and purchased three bottles of the stuff – ... Read the complete review

*Introduction* To say that I have problems with my skin in a bit of an understatement. Although I don't suffer from acne, I do have regular spot problems and these would be much worse if this product wasn't available. I came across this product whilst asking an assistant in Boots what they recommended to help keep my spots at bay. She suggested Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Cleansing and Toning Lotion so I bought it and haven't looked back since. *About Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Cleansing and Toning Lotion* In order to help maintain clear and healthy skin, the formula is made up of antibacterial Tea Tree Oil and skin calming Witch ... I have actually stopped using this about 4 months ago. I have stopped using this simply because it is too harsh for the skin, I have sensitive skin, but have not had a reaction to any other product like this, especially from a product by Boots. To start off with, I thought it was working quite well - I suffer from bouts of spots and this seemed to be holding them back. The bottle claims that the Witch Hazel helps to calm and sooth the skin. However, with each day I had been using this (about a week) - my skin became very aggravated and red. My skin felt very tight and dry after each application. I would have said that this is not ... I have dry skin rather than oily so I don't have masses of problems with spots. Just every now and again a few turn up to cause me bother so I use this for a few days until my skin settles down again. I love the smell of this product and sometimes just sniff it without using it (odd I know but there you are). I love that it cleanses so deeply; a sweep of my face with a cotton wood pad and my skin feels very very clean; the cotton wool pad looks very dirty! The product also leaves my skin feeling very refreshed and "awake" if that's possible. I like to use it after a long, tiring day like when I've been travelling in the car for ... A skincare product I actually like!! Yes, you read that correctly, I like this product! I have what some would call problem skin - ok ok - what EVERYONE would call problem skin - you only have to look at it some days to see it is a problem. I try to convince myself it is down to hormones but some days it's just bad skin - plain and simple, I can't dress it up any other way. So I work hard with my cleansing routine and am always on the look out for miracle products that will work - although my budget is slim and feeble. I first came across the Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel product range when I saw it was on special offer. I can't remember if it was 3 for 2, ... Read the complete review
