A skincare product I actually like!! Yes, you read that correctly, I like this product!
I have what some would call problem skin - ok ok - what EVERYONE would call problem skin - you only have to look at it some days to see it is a problem. I try to convince myself it is down to hormones but some days it's just bad skin - plain and simple, I can't dress it up any other way. So I work hard with my cleansing routine and am always on the look out for miracle products that will work - although my budget is slim and feeble.
I first came across the Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel product range when I saw it was on special offer. I can't remember if it was 3 for 2, or one of the more recent 2 for £5 deals, but anyway, it attracted my attention enough to warrant a little gander. I ended up walking out with the cleanser/toner, a day moisturiser and a night time treatment gel (the latter two will be reviewed later).
The cleanser is brilliant - well, for me it is anyway. I often find that even after washing my skin with another product and using this one as a toner on a cotton wool ball - the cleanser properties of this product still manages to find and remove the last bit of grime and dirt in my pores, and the evidence of this is clear to see.
It feels light on my skin, and the smell is clean and non-offensive. It doesn't dry my skin as many toners/astrigents tend to do - and for a "cheap end scale" product, it works brilliantly well for me.
Summary: a cheap but very cheerful product that works for me - hurray!
