Advantages: Great Colour and texture , really gives your lips a wake up call!
Disadvantages: Beware when first using as it can seem quite a shock on the lips!
Clutching my 3 Boots £5 skincare vouchers ( you were given these whenever you spent £5 or over in the last few weeks!) in my hand I set off to Boots. I knew if I left it until the last day (next Tues) it would be a mad rush with women bundling all around the face creams trying to get the cheapest items left!
Now on looking at my voucher I decided to go with Boots Time Delay as I have used these before, also the other brands were Olay Regenerate at around the £25 per pot was that was out of my league and the others
like Roc I hadn't used before so was not sure how my skin would react,
L'oreal I always used and thought I would try something different.
So I ended up with Time Delays Radiance Booster, Time Delays Anti-Age Night Cream and Time Delays Instant Liip Plumper!
The boxes have changed from the one shown in the picture as they are now a smart Golden colour with gold writting on the front. On the front of the box it says that it instantly defines and plumps lips. Well I thought I could do with some help in that department ( it is true your lips do get thinner as you get older it almost happens over night one day great next day gone!!)
On opening the box I pulled out a chunky tube with a gold lid and a see through tube showing a rather bronzey brown slightly glittery colour. This was a bit of a shock as I expected it to be just a clear colour!
I unscrewed it and pulled it out to reveal a small shaped sponge on the tip, it also had a bit of a bubblegum smell to it. The box say's " that it will give you a warm golden shimmer to enhance lips leaving them soft, glossy and plumper".
The directions say for a maximum effect smooth onto lips daily and that it may cause a tingling effect. Well I brushed it onto my lips and it went on well not to gooey or sticky. The colour was surprisingly good which I liked
so far so good, then it happened (I have used lip plumper before in the Soap & Glory range but nothing like this!) my lips seemed to be burning
and it got more and more intense. I had been impatient and was sitting in the car going home at the time I tried it .With the sunvisor down I was looking at my lips, I must have gone into a Lesley Ash lookalike by now!
The "Tingling" as they put it went on for about an hour, but unforunately
I didn't notice any difference, I don't know if this is something that will gradually plump up or what! But I do know that I will be buying another as soon as this runs out, as I've got quite addicted to the tingling and enjoy the colour and texture of this lip gloss.
I went to Boots early to get rid of my vouchers, but with the 3 vouchers I used I received another 3 because the intitial cost of each item was over £5 so I'm back to square one and will be one of the women fighting next week to get to the shelves!!!
This Time Delay Instant Lip Plumper costs £7.82 so I got mine for £3.82 a really good bargain!!!
Summary: I will buying another one as soon as possible!
