Braun Soft Perfection Epilator SP3270

I like the idea of epilators, as shaving leaves such awful stubble and waxing is expensive if you go somewhere to get it done or messy if you try and do it yourself. They seem like a great compromise. This is the only epilator I've owned so far, so can't compare it agains others. It comes with a few attachments (one which you can use to make it a little less painful when you first use it) and a shaving head which I've never used. I've spent most of my adult life on a mission to find a hassle free way to be hairless, and I think this is probably the closest I'll ever get. Epilators work by plucking out each hair individually but have lots of tweezers on a small rolling head so that lots of hairs can be removed in one go. This epilator comes with a head that has far fewer tweezers on it, in order to break you in gently, and then when you're feeling brave, you can move on to the standard head which has lots to get the job done quickly! I asked for this epilator for Christmas as I wanted a method of hair removal that would last longer than shaving. This epilator is advertised as ideal for beginners, as it comes with 2 heads - one has less tweezers than the other to make it less painful and to get you used to the sensation. I was a bit nervous to begin with as I was scared it would be very painful, but I was using the head with more tweezers in it very quickly. This is a fab epilator and less painful than others I have used. It is still a bit sore though so go easy if it's your first time. I epilate once a week if I remember which makes it much less painful and should keep you hair free for ages. It's very good at getting all the little hairs and should only take ten minutes if you do it regularly. I try to do it while reading a book to take my mind off it, or you can watch tv if you turn the volume right up.
