I asked for this epilator for Christmas as I wanted a method of hair removal that would last longer than shaving. This epilator is advertised as ideal for beginners, as it comes with 2 heads - one has less tweezers than the other to make it less painful and to get you used to the sensation. I was a bit nervous to begin with as I was scared it would be very painful, but I was using the head with more tweezers in it very quickly. After your'e used to how it feels it actually doesn't hurt very much on the legs, and lasts for about 4 weeks til the hairs start to grow back. It can be used on very short hairs too so you don't have to wait til they're a certain length, and comes with a detachable accessory that rolls the skin to lift the hairs and make it less painful. It also come with a brush to clean the hairs out of the head once you're finished. The hair removal is fast, but there is no chamber to collect the hair so you need to vacuum after! It's also quite noisy and terrifies my cats (although it's funny to watch them try to bat it and run away!). It can be used on any body hair, but I tried my underarms and it was very painful for me, my friend does her bikini line with hers though so I maybe have a low pain threshold!

All in all, it's convenient and does the job well.

Summary: A very good alternative to shaving and waxing
