A while back when I was particularly unhappy with a lip balm I had wasted money on (Blisstex Lip Relief) and had dry chapped lips my mum read out a bit in a magazine claiming that Burt's Bees lip balm was the best lip balm you could buy. It was only available from larger Boots stores and John Lewis, due to this, and the fact that I didn't go to our shopping centre that had these stores for a long time I never got hold of one, although it was always on my to do list. In the mean time I got my Anatomicals Stop Cracking Up Balm which I was fairly happy with, although I still believed there to be something better out there and still planned to get a Burt's Bees lip balm when ... Burts bees beeswax lipbalm comes in a very small yellow tin. The lip balm itself is white and solid. When you apply this lipbalm its smells minty and tingles. Before using this product my lips were very chapped and sore, i had previosuly been using vaseline for ever but unfortunatly it didnt seem to be doing anything for my chapped and cut lips so i decided to try something new, initially i tried carmex which has a lovely smell but tastes awful if it gets in your mouth and doesnt last very long. I decided to try burts bees lipbalm as i had previously bought the mama bees lotion which is great. Anyway after one single apllication my lips looked soft and healthy again and ... This lip balm comes in two forms, in a small round .3 oz old-fashioned yellow tin, or a typical plastic .15 oz tube form which can be screwed upward. While shopping on Amazon I came across a good deal for the stick version and since I had read some glowing reviews of Burts bees, and because I was desperate over the state of my chapped lips, I decided to purchase it. Initial impression. When it arrived in the post I opened the paper wrapper that it had come in and opened the top of the tube, it has a faint peppermint smell and is an off white color. Upon application an immediate cooling sensation is felt and your lips almost tingle, it glides on ... Read the complete review

Throughout the winter and when there is cold weather I often get dry lips which can sometimes crack and get really sore! So I decided to look around for a really good lip balm to try to soften up my lips and help combat this problem. I had tried Burt's Bees products before and really liked them, so I decided to try this 'Burt's Beeswax Lip Balm'. I bought the lip balm from Boots.com for £2.95, which I don't think is overly expensive for a lip balm. Burt's Bees products are widely available online but it is also becoming more popular in high street shops and is now sold in Boots, Jenners and Harvey Nichols. The beeswax lip balm is available to buy ... Read the complete review

I have decided to write my first review on lip balm, as I consider myself to be somewhat of an authority on the stuff. I became addicted to lip balm at the age of about 12, when I discovered the (gone but not forgotten) Boots Natural Collection Cherry Choc Chip flavour. Now don't scoff; lip balm addiction is a Proper Medical Condition. I read it somewhere once - because you're constantly coating your lips with artificial moisture, they begin to crave it and feel dry without it. So after 15 years of devotion, I feel I know a thing or two about a lot of lip balms on the market. I first came across Burt's Bees in a little gift shop in Whitby during the summer, ...
