A girl can never seem to have enough lip balms and salves. So when I noticed Carmex had added a cherry flavour balm to there product list I knew it was a must have. So off I marched to my local boots, where I purchased it for the very reasonable sum of £2.99. It comes in a sweet mini white tub and yellow lid complete with cute cherries ... This is the updated version of the carmex original lip balm. In a handy little pot, the lip balm is currently cherry flavoured. This isnt a strong scent which is nice and doesnt leave the flavour on your lips for long which is disappointing. This lipbalm is more hard wax than other lip balms. It takes quite a while to 'warm' up the balm to put on ... Read the complete review

Original Carmex lipbalm has been a hot product on beauty editors and make-up artists lists for as long as I can remember - I mean this in all honesty - I remember well J17 magazine used to rave about the balm pretty much every issue. Now Carmex has added a new product to their range, Carmex cherry. All the same benefits of the original balm with a ... Read the complete review

As previously described this product is found in most high street pharmacies - boots, superdrug and local independent stores. It is on the expensive side of lip balms at £2.40 plus. It is packed protectivly though, being on a sealed backing card, so you know no-one else hasa hair their mucky little fingers in! I like the packaging on ... Read the complete review

I often have dry lips, even in the summer, so I don't like to be without some form of lip balm wherever I am. I first bought Carmex a couple of months ago as the tube looked like a nice size for my bag, and I was very pleased with the condition of my lips when I used it. I don't like the taste of the original Carmex very much so when I ... Read the complete review

Typically the majority of the population uses vasaline however I was informed by a makeup artists that it does nothing beneficial to you lips (mirrors a layer of grease/oil). I was then advised to use carmex. Price/packaging I was slightly taken back at the cost in ratio to the size. Boots sell this range at £2.48 for 7.5g ... Read the complete review

For many years I have used vaseline on my lips as I have very dry skin and my lips always feel dry. Lip balm is a product I can't live without! Going to purchase more vaseline I spotted this product in Boots and was initially drawn to the packaging (I am a sucker for packaging!) a very neat little tub with a retro design on the metal lid. The ... Read the complete review

I once vowed never to write a review on lip balm, or in fact any other overly girly product listed in the 'Fashion & Beauty' category. But times have obviously changed, and my feminine side must be taking over, considering that i've now produced at least three lip balm write-up's, and even a review of the dreaded Lush... the ... When I was in London recently I'd forgotten to take any lip balm with me and as it was a really hot day my lips were getting really dry and cracked. I religiously apply lip balm to my lips and I feel really uncomfortable without it so I popped into Boots and I bought the cherry flavoured Carmex as I'd remembered reading a review about ... Carmex lip balm, in my opinion is a little miracle worker! It is a must have when you have a cold, or if your lips are chapped. It also makes a nice gloss over lipstick if you are so inclined (or even an undercoat!)! Carmex contains menthol (which gives that fresh tingling sensation). Menthol is derived from peppermint oil and kills ... Read the complete review
