I don't really use many beauty products because I don't really have the time to bother with all that every day, and most of the time I am at home with Harry and he doesn't care what I look like as long as he gets fed and changed! But I had sore lips the other week and decided to have a look for something in Tesco to help while I was doing my shopping. I have seen Carmex products in Boots before but never really paid them any attention. But this producy caught my eye on the shelf for 3 reasons. It has a nice bright yellow packet which you can't fail to miss, it was a very reasonable price and finally I liked the idea of the applcator, rather than a pot of lip ... Read the complete review

At this time of year, as the weather gets colder, I always suffer from chapped sore lips. I have tried many lip salves over the years with varying degrees of sucess. A few years ago I read an article where Carmex lip balm was recommended in a magazine, and decided to give it a try. It is now my firm favourite out of all of these types of products. Carmex is an American product, first developed back in 1937, when it was made in the home of its developer, Alfred Woelbing, and sold from the back of his car. It became hugely popular in America, and is now also available in the UK. Carmex is recognisable by its bright yellow packaging and red logo. It is available ... Read the complete review

Well, ever since being a child I have always suffered with dry and chapped lips just like most people -that was until I found this. This is the only lip balm I'll use from now as it really does it work and I cannot get enough of it! Like you I have tried all sorts of brands to try and get my lips looking soft and smooth including: chapsticks, nivea, johnsons and others but from now this is going to be the one that I'll stick to! The product: It is a lip balm, but not the 'solid' ones where yoou turn the bottom for the lio balm to come up, it is of a 'liquid' type form where you squeeze forr the lip balm to come up. The product is designed for people with ... Read the complete review

I've reviewed Vaseline before, telling how the tin is unhygenic and not very long lasting. So I was keen to try Carmex as it's got such a following! My lips always seem to be dry. I probably don't drink enough liquids throughout the day so my lips are dry almost all the time, and Vaseline didn't help. I also sadly get coldsores. They are the bane of my life! I am paranoid about getting one all the time and pray I don't, especially when I have important occassions coming up! So I was surprised to read that this product actually mentioned that it targetted coldsores! Fab! I chose the tube because the tin is very hygenic. Dipping dirty ... Read the complete review

~~~Introduction~~~ I have been using Vaseline on my lips for many years. It keeps them moist and stops them from cracking, chapping and getting dry. However, I do find that Vaseline needs to be constantly reapplied and this tends to frustrate me. So recently I have been looking for a better lip balm, and I have come across Carmex. I had heard of Carmex before as I have read various magazines which state that supermodels use it to keep their lips in good condition, and I also know that it is very popular as a lip balm in America, so I was looking forward to trying it out. ~~~Packaging~~~ Carmex comes in an 'EZ-on' applicator ...
