Chanel Egoiste

I've been trying many many after shave/eau de toilette over the last 10 years or so. Kouros, Pi, Anteus...and then I discovered Egoiste. The smell is both discreet (it does not harrass your nose or worse the others' nose) and have got a distinctive smell with a lot of personality. The perfect balance. Egoiste exists in 2 versions. I prefer the normal one, the "platinum" version is apparently for the UK market but to me has not got as much personality as the normal one. NOT PLATINUM, IT'S NOT AS NICE! This stuff is sexy. I met a guy in 1995 who wore this, and I don't know what I fell for more, him or the aftershave. quite cheekily, I bought my later boyfriend a bottle and realised that it's the smell. It's great. There's something about it that makes girls swoon. I'm 20 and have been obsessed with this sent since 95, it seems to suite most guys. if I remeber correctly (I haven't bought it for my current love) it's not too expensive and is available everywhere. Of course, I don't actually use it myself, being a woman, but I thought there may be some men out there who would appreciate a woman's opinion on the subject. In short, Egoiste Platinum is sexy! Don't know what they put in it, but they should bottle it (oh yes, they have, haven't they?). Not only does it make my hubbie's skin all soft, but the smell ... ooh, it's just lovely! My husband himself says that he likes it because it doesn't irritate his sensitive (ahhh!) skin and he likes the smell (obviously).
