Chanel Hydramax

I am a 20 yr old lad. I take skincare very seriously. I've spend around £300+ on skincare in the past year! My skin type is combination to very dry. As in my t zone area I have oily skin and where I shave I have very dry skin. So finding a product I can use on my both area is rather difficult. I have tried all the products in the Chanel Hydramax range. Chanel hydramax have a cream for dry skin, gel-cream for conbination skin and a lotion for oily skin. Hydramax is a mini range of moisturisers in the Chanel range which caters for the younger customers, its a kind of "prevention" series. (The anti-wrinkle range is available later!) There are three types, the balancing gel, the oil free gel and the cream. I have tried two of there, the balancing gel and the cream. The consultant recommended the balancing gel to me, as this mattifies the T-zone area (the oily forehead, nose and chin) and moisturises the cheek area. I tried Chanel Hydramax when staying at a friend's and had forgotten my moisturiser. We had been drinking and my skin always dries out a lot when I drink so she lent me this and told me it was a miracle cream. She has very dry skin and so uses the cream but you can get a gel for combination skin or a thinner lotion for oily skin. I tried the lotion as a sample and really did not like the consistency. The cream for dry skin is wonderful though. The creams smell lovely. They are quite a strong fragrance for a moisturiser but I like this. Hydramax from Chanel is an excellent range, I have purchased the Balanced Hydrating Gel. Which you are directed to apply twice daily after cleansing. It moisturises and refreshes the skin, and absorbs excess oil leaving a matte finish. It has an anti-enzyme ingredient which is supposed to help fight harmful things that cause the loss of elasticity in the skin. When you go to buy you Chanel skin Care product, they have this fancy way of finding out your specific skin type and the best products for you.
