I have used Clean and Clear faithfully for about 5 years now and I have had very few skin issues except I have always had a problem with dirty pores on my nose ? until now.

This Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Astringent contains Salicylic Acid and is designed to help treat and prevent blackheads in the treatment of acne. Not quite as medicated in fragrance as many other astringents often are, this formula contains a fresh, pleasing scent and leaves skin feeling cool and tingly. Excess dirt left behind after cleansing is removed. The alcohol content is quite high, however, so those that are prone to dryness or have sensitive skin should apply with caution. Oily skin types who have problems with blackhead may find that this is just what their face requires to help control excess breakouts and blemishes. I have combination skin; a little drier in the cheek area, and little more oily in the chin-nose-forehead areas, so I need something that will clear up the oil and kill the bacteria, but without making my skin feel like sandpaper.

Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Astringent serves the same purpose as the other astringents in the Clean and Clear range, it doesn't feel as harsh on your skin, and it has the extra something that keeps away not only the blackheads, but other blemishes that might pop up. So used as part of a daily skin care regimen, I think that this product would benefit any user, even those with clear skin.
