Advantages: Does what it said it would do, smelled better than many blemish cleansers out there.

Disadvantages: Dried my skin out too much in the end.

I have always had a problem with blackheads populating the tip of my nose and around the cheek area surrounding it, and never really thought I would find a product that would successfully (and painlessly) remove them. ( I tried Biore, but the strips made me cry!) I use this product in the shower, before applying conditioner, so I have plenty of time for rinsing this product off with abandon. When I moisturize upon exiting the shower, any stray exfoliating beads usually get lifted off my skin as I look in a mirror before rushing out the door. This product was great initially, but once my problem of blackheads was gone, I should have used a different cleanser.

I like the fact that this cleanser really worked for my skin. I have combination normal/dry skin, so it can be difficult to find something that actually works for this mix. For the first time in my life, I had a clear-ended nose! Terrific! And I kind of liked the smell, go figure.

What I don't like is that eventually, I had to stop using this because parts of my face were getting too dry, and I didn't have a problem with blackheads any longer. I wanted to continue use of it to prevent further ones, but could not bring myself to slathering on loads of moisturizer once out of the shower afterwards.
