Clean & Clear Cleansing Lotion

I first started using this product back in 1995. I'm not sure if it's roughly that time it came out, but I've been using this off and on since then. Clean and Clear is manufactured by Johnson and Johnson. You can buy this product in normal and sensitive. I used the normal one once and found it was quite harsh on my skin, so I switched to the sensitive, which doesn't nip at all. The 2 different liquids have slightly different ingredients, and the colour is different. In the normal lotion it is orange, and the sensitive one is light blue. Clean and Clear is great for those with spots. It really does prevent them. I don't like the smell of this. It is really clinical and reminds he of the dentist! However, I like the fact that this smell reminds me of cleanliness and so as I use it, I feel that I am getting really clean. You use this cleanser on cotton wool and wipe over your face. It recommends you do this lightly but I tend to have a good thorough scrub at my face with it. Not sure why, I just don't feel clean unless I put some elbow grease into it! Clean and Clear cleansing lotion has been around for a long time. i started using it in 1995 when i was 13 and had begun to show the signs of acne now my acne did get worse but this isnt because the product didnt work, i found out that the reason for my skins decline was nothing to do with the products that i was using but was a hormonal inbalance and no over the counter treatment would clear them up. (i advise anyone with acne to not waste their money on store bought products to try and clear their skin but to do straight to the doctors where you can get medicine that will work and for free!) The feel of this cleanser really makes you feel like your face is being cleansed, if that makes any sense. It's fresh and has that slight sting that makes you feel it's actually making a difference (NB: the sting is very faint, nothing to worry about). You can see the evidence of the cleansing on the cotton wool, and see the difference in your skin quite quickly. It was fairly cheap (in comparison to a lot of skin products out there), and very simple and quick to use each morning and night.
