I first started using this product back in 1995. I'm not sure if it's roughly that time it came out, but I've been using this off and on since then.

Clean and Clear is manufactured by Johnson and Johnson. You can buy this product in normal and sensitive. I used the normal one once and found it was quite harsh on my skin, so I switched to the sensitive, which doesn't nip at all. The 2 different liquids have slightly different ingredients, and the colour is different. In the normal lotion it is orange, and the sensitive one is light blue.

I would say this is more designed to help with spots or oily skin. As I have oily skin and even dry patches on my cheeks and I do get a few spots. I used to use Clearasil, but found that was a bit harsh for me as well.

Although this does help with spots, I feel this is great helping with my oily skin. It doesn't dry my skin out, but it kind of strips the oil away and mattifies and takes the shine away.

The bottle design is standard. It is a clear plastic bottle, so you can see the liquid through it. It has a blue plastic flip lid, The stick on label on the bottle looks a bit clinical with little blue squares for a picture.

The standard price of this is around £2.70-£3.00. Not many offers on this product for money off, but sometimes you can buy 2 things in the Clean and Clear range for £5.

A good product that seems to work well and it is relatively inexpensive. I would always recommend buying the sensitive one, even if you don't have sensitive skin
