I have been trying several different cleansers of late, having erupted in horrendous skin! I put this down to too much chocolate and the stress of the credit crunch and job hunting! My trips to Tesco and Boots have been kept busy with me in the cosmetic aisle looking for cheap yet effective face washes and treatments. I take great pride in looking after my skin especially on the face so a cleaning routine is very important to me. This is one of the cleansers which I tried recently. Made by Johnson who are a reliable and trustworthy brand, I picked this up from Tesco. Packaging: It comes in a plastic bottle with a flip top lid. The lid is ... Read the complete review

I always thought when I came out of my teens (very many years ago by the way!) I'd no longer have spots. I thought by the age I'm at now I'd be wrinkly and prune like BUT zit free. Well I'm happy to report I'm not like Mother Teresa yet but sadly I do suffer spots. I largely put them down to hormonal one's however I do suffer the occasional outburst of black heads too! Not a good look at almost 35 years of age and I'm embarrassed by them! I do try alot of spot treatments out and the other day I saw this in my local Tesco store and it was on offer. Reduced from it's usual price tag of £1.83 a bottle I got my bottle for 85p! Pleased I was considering at the time ... Read the complete review

I'd seen this cleansing lotion on the shelves of Boots (and many other places) lots of times, but I'd never considered trying it before as I really like to wash my face 'properly' with a foaming cleanser and lots of water. Whenever I go round to visit my nan, she invariably ends up giving me loads of stuff - things she never uses, or things she always uses and thinks everyone else should use too! Clean & Clear sensitive skin Deep Cleansing Lotion definitely belonged to the second category - she was absolutely raving about it and insisted I take a nearly-empty bottle home to try it out, as she'd already bought herself a new one. I was sceptical ... Read the complete review

I first came across the Clean and Clear range about 13 years ago when I was at the tender age of 15. I had won a competition in a magazine and won a selection of Clean and Clear goodies, including the deep cleansing lotion as pictured above. I was so pleased with it, I still use it to this day. The lotion comes in two different types, for sensitive skin (the blue lotion) and for non-sensitive skin (an orange version) and I have always used the type for sensitive skin. It removes make up really well including waterproof mascara and it removes grease and oil from your skin, visible on the cotton wool pad you use to apply it. It has a pleasant smell and gives your skin ... Read the complete review
