I brought clean and clear foundation to use along with the clean and clear daily face wash. I have combination, spot-prone skin & needed a product that would mousturise,and prevent blemishes, which this product promised to do. Firstly, this mousturiser can be brought from most chemists or supermarkets. It comes in a squeezy white/purple plastic tube and looks very 'teenagery' and basic. It costs around three pounds for a 100ml tube. After washing my face, I used a small ammount of this product and massaged it into my face. The smell isn't too bad - quite medicinal, and the cream is a whitish color. Immediatly after using this, my face felt quite tingly ...

i have dry skin but yet i still manage to get a breakouts of spots on my greasy nose and chin so i decided i would try a new moisturiser. I spent a while browsing and found clean and clear which promised to balance oily and dry areas and stop spots. This sounded too good to be true so i decided to buy this dual action moisturiser. Well it WAS too good to be true. When i applied the moisturiser it stung and had a cool feeling but i just presumed this to be the medicated action. My skin felt no more moisturised though but i gave it the benefit of the doubt and continued to use it for a week. With every application the stinging got worse ...

This particular moisturiser is good. At first it quite stung my skin and I was a little worried, but after a few days this sensation stopped. It says on the front of the tube that it balances oily and dry areas, which not all moisturisers will do, and it contains medicated ingredients to prevent spots. I can't vouch for this working, because I don't get many spots anyway, so I haven't noticed a difference. It smells pleasant; nothing too bad in that area. It claims it's fragrance free, so it must be what's in it that smells okay. Overall I can say that it helps my dry skin, which is good in this cold weather. ...
