Clean & Clear Exfoliating Daily Wash

I brought this product to combat oily, spot prone skin & used it alongside clean and clear dual action mousturiser. This product claims to 'unblock pores and smooth skin' using micro beads which 'effectively remove dirt and oil' It costs around four pounds from most chemists, and comes in a blue/white plastic squeezy tube with a plastic cap.The packaging is quite basic and 'teenagery' The prodcut doesn't smell too bad - it's quite medicinal smelling, and looks like a whitish, grainy liquid. As a buyer of facial washes and scrubs, I have tried a few on the market and when I pick one up, I want to know how well and how quickly it will work. That is why I am updating this review daily, from day 1 to show how it may or may not work. I had every intention of buying a Boots brand of facewash having heard a lot of good things about them. I had expected them to be a bit cheaper than the bigger names which is usually the case. However not in this instance, seeing that they were a pound or so more than the one I actually bought. Clean & Clear products I find are all a bit hit and miss. Although I can say I don't scrimp on keeping myself clean while at home, I took some different face and body treats with me when I went on holiday. We went to a place we have been to a few times before Brugges in Belgium, so we weren't going for a mad tourist run about. We went for a lazy chill out holiday to get a break from work, bills and general home life, so I thought I would really treat my skin and exfoliate every day, long soaks in the bath and cover myself with creams. This product has been a staple in my bathroom for a number of years and I still really enjoy using it. I normally use it about once a week for a great exfoliation and lovely deep-down clean feeling. It always leaves my skin feeling really fresh and smooth. It definitely improves the appearance of skin as well - mine always looks much clearer after using it. However, although it says on the packaging that it is suitable for daily use, I wouldn't recommend using it more than once a week unless you have very oily or spotty skin.
