When I was younger I never really bothered about buying lots of beauty products, having never been the type of girl to wear any make-up, I never felt it necessary to buy any other beauty product apart from the soap, shampoo and bath products. As you get older though things begin to change.

I'm going to be in my mid fourties in two weeks and this is not just a scarry thought, but you start to think about your appearance and your health a bit more.
I still don't put make-up on but in the morning I have a ritual for my facial cleansing which not only makes me feel better and pampered, but leaves my skin looking fresh, alive and youthful.

My daughter is studying to be a beautician and is halfway to getting her first NVQ, she has been really helful in suggersting which products can be good for the skin and what to avoid.
This Clean & Clear Exfoliating Daily wash is one of the products she has told me to try.

It's made by Johnson & Johnson who I have to admit do make gentle products for the skin, we all know about the baby product they supply and other beauty products.
This tube cost me £2.45 in the bodycare shop and so far I have been using it everyday for the past two weeks.

You only need a very little squeeze of the liquid onto your fingers to gently massage into your face. When I first started to use this , had never exfoliated before and getting a huge blob of this on my fingers and rubbing vigourously into my face for about five minutes left me looking very pink in the face for about half an hour.
My daughter thought that was really funny.
All you need is a tiny blob, work it gently around the face adding more if necessary, massage the face for about two minutes and rinse off with warm water.
Be careful not to get his into your eyes and make sure it stays out of reach of little children.

This has a nice fresh scent and is gentle on the skin, the tube is 150ml and has so far lasted me two weeks. I use it every day when I wake up and it leaves my skin feeling and looking good.
I have noticed a difference in the condition of my skin since I first started to use it, my skin is cleaner and the pores are unblocked, I hardly ever get spots so I feel more confident. After using this I know my skin is looking good and this helps me to feel good about myself at the start of the day.

If you haven't tried it then it's worth a go, if you have really sensative skin it may not suit you, my daughter has sensative combination skin and this isn't for her as it drys out some parts of her face and not others.
For me though it works well and is part of my daily facial routine.
