... product. It?s a orange/pink colour not a colour I would imagine but it does the job so I am not complaining. The results are really pleasing. The lotion is fast absorbent onto your skin and doesn?t leave it sticky, clammy or greasy. But, also it does pick up dirt. If you do use cotton wool then you can see just how much dirt it does pick up. I actually think this will be a good substitute for teenager from Clearasil to this product, because it does clean and clear. You will also notice that if you wash your face with...more

I have been using this product for over 10 years (my goodness, that makes me sound old) and in that time the powers that be have done two sneaky things: 1. They have changed the top of the bottle to a squeezy squirty thing (and, yes, that is the technical term), so that when you use it a large amount of the liquid deluges your cotton wool, ensuring you get through the product as quickly as possible and buy another one. 2. They have put the price up. Okay, fair enough, 10 years of inflation is bound to affect even cleansing lotion but it still seems that over £3.00 for a bottle of pink liquid is still rather high. However, I still buy it, so there must ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A product that actually works (427 words)

I use a lot of lotions one of the reason that I have not yet settled down with one product is because there are so many on the market. I have been meaning to purchase Clean and Clear Oil face lotion for a long time. If the name sounds half as good as the product I could be on to a winner. It comes in a squeezable plastic bottle which can be a pain as I have had problems controlling the amount of liquid that comes out, although I am starting to get the hang of it. Application is very easy, you can either dab some onto a cotton wool or on to your hand and then gently massage on to your face. I was quite surprised at the colour of the product. It?s a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Clean & Clear Oil-Free Facial Cleanser (Regular): clean and clear for sensitive skin.  (184 words)

There are two cleansing lotions that are simular, one is orange in colour, this is the normal skin one, and the other blue in colour, for sensitive skin. I have been using the one for sensitive skin and I could not believe how much normal cleansers missed in comparison to this. I cleansed, toned and moistureised my face and then went over with the clean and clear, and I was still getting dirt off! It was not very much, but there was still some there. My skin afterwards was tingley, fresh, and felt lovely. I have also noticed that I am not getting anywhere near the amount of spots that I used to get! This product does everything it says on the bottle, my ...  Read the complete review

Johnsons Clean and Clear cleanser for normal skin looks a bit as though it wouldn't do your skin much good in my opinion because the liquid is bright orange which dosn't give out the idea of being gentle to the skin. Actually its not too bad although it isn't really that gentle. If you have sensitive skin then make sure you buy the sensitive skin one which is blue in colour. Its good to use when you come in late and can't be bothered to wash your face properly - you can just wipe it over a bit with the clean and clear on some cotton wool and feel like you have at least washed your face a bit. If your lazy like me and can't be bothered to take ...  Read the complete review
