Advantages: clears skin, cut's down on oily skin, leaves you feeling irresistable
Disadvantages: a bit pricey, won't work for everyone
I'm sure you're all in fits of laughter at that great pun in the title but when you have a bad complexion you need to make jokes to make life a bit lighter. WHAT ARE SPOTS ? ----------------- Well for that explanation why don't we just get it straight from the explanation on the back of the bottle. 1-Bacteria and grease build up daily in your skin pores and cause spots. 2-Clearasil unclogs pores by pore-deep removal of grease and helps to kill spot causing bacteria. Sound pretty simple doesn't it, well essentially posts are pretty simple and everyone get's them. Some more than others. I haven't always had the best of complexions. I'm no ugly duckling but my skin could be better. In my teens I went through a brief flirtation with anti-biotics and various lotion but they didn't seem to anything but give me an allergic reaction on my chest. Turning to medicated lotions was my alternative and it worked to a degree. Sure I still got spots but they weren't severe and really nasty, they were contained. As the years have gone by I'd left the lotions and just used water to wash without soap. You see I also have very dry skin so I moisturise every day. Some guys may thin that's vain for a male but I'll be the one with the great soft skin when I'm older. But I still get spots and occasionaly they are nasty so once again I have turned to lotion to clean things up a bit. I have had a pore problem around the cheeks of my face and decided I would try and clear it up. I purchased this lotion becuse it suite to sensitive skin and contains Aloe Vera whihc soothes skin and calms irritation. I've been using it twice daily now for two weeks and things are starting to happen slowly. My skin hasn't cleared up totally but I have noticed it is a lot clearer in the problem regions on my face. It doesn't seem as oily whihc was causing the bulk of prob
lems. I have heard some people say that such lotions as clearasil simply doesn't work. Well like medications, it won't have the desired effect for everyobody but I also think that some people simply use the lotion as a substitute for washing rather than going near water. It is best to first wash thourouly with hot water, this unblocks your pores. Then apply the lotion to your skin thinly but with hard movements. Don't soak your face in it. You many not notice much dirt on the cotton wool becuase the wash has taken most of it away. The lotion is getting into the pores and tackling that small amount of dirt and grease that can start the spots. I then rinse with cold water, this closes the pores or the night and also feels fresh. At £3.50 for a 150ml bottle the lotion isn't exactly cheap but it's a small price to pay for loks and if used correctly should lst you at least 6 weeks if not more. It's best to buy and try, if it works then great. If not then move on to another that will. Either way eventually you'll be able to look i the mirror and shout "MY GOD! -- I'M GORGEOUS!"

- 24/10/01 Isn't it just such a strange thing that despite getting spots, you get dry skin too, I know all about it! They recon even oily skin needs moisturising though to stop over production of sebum. I wish you skin like a baby's bottom!
