Clearasil are probably the foremost brand in 'anti spot skincare products' and perhaps it should be looked into whether this status is founded upon anything... On first looks the packaging is very smart and attractive, definitely looks like something that I wouldn't mind putting on my face, which for a skincare product is a big plus. The very name of the product is also quite alluring 'skin perfecting wash', which suggests that in some way this product will make your skin perfect. Very clever advertising... For a long time Clearasil seems to have been at the top of the cosmetic market for spot prone, problem and teenage skin. Unfortunately now mid twenties, my skin still refuses to grow up. I often go for tea tree or witch hazel products, which although natural remedies have got the advantage of being, well... natural, they don't tend to smell quite as good. Also they tend to be less expensive I've always thought Clearasil products were a largely overpriced, often been tempted to try their blackhead removing scrub but though the £5 price tag was a bit hefty. When it comes to combination / oily / blemish prone skin I think that Clearasil know what they're talking about. I trust their brand and don't hesitate putting my money down for any of their products. The 'Stayclear Skin Perfecting Wash' is one such product that has a permanent position in my skincare routine. Here's why... Firstly this is a cleansing wash, it does have a little bit of scrub in it but only slightly so this makes it perfect for daily use. I personally use the 'sensitive' version which I presume has a more gentle formula than the standard version.
