I purchased this looking for a way to get rid of oily skin (yet not irritate dry skin), I was no longer an adolescent, at 24 so the usual adverts did not really apply to me. I tried a wide variety of rub on cleansers, that did not really work for me as I figured I was leaving the cleanser on the skin and therefore that was not helping my oily pores. What I needed was a not too harsh face wash and thats where clearasil came in. The product comes in a container with a soap dispensing top that you can twist to on or off to preserve the life of this product and stop it drying out, which I have since found out is very important, once it dries a little bit you cannot use it. The best thing about this face wash is that it clears your pores without stripping your skin of the goodness it needs. As the name suggests this product goes deep into your pores and cleans them out completely, this reduces the appearance of black heads and also then leads to spots not occuring. Another great thing about this face wash is that it reduces the redness that skin can get. The product is 'harsh' enough to clear out your pores, yet it seems to be gentle on sensitive skin. Many face washes I have tried have left my skin dried out and flakey, or sore. Clearasil is great for sensitive skin and does not dry it out. This really is a great product. Its not too harsh, yet it is harsh enough!
