... shown here I assume is the old packaging. It has the appearance on a lipstick, with a shiny metal lid with a slanted top. The actual product is a light green colour with brown exfoliating beads. Despite the unusual look, the product has a light fresh minty smell to it. In my opinion the product wasn't as amazing as I had hoped. During these 2 weeks I have used over half of the product, which is quite annoying considering the price. I'll admit it does exfoliate and remove a decent amount, not all, of dead skin on my ...more

Crowned Review The Body Shop Colourings Lipscuff: My sexy smooth snoggable lips (685 words)

Whilst looking around the shops the other week, I decided to see if I could find anything for my lips which had become quite dry and flaky. I ended up buying two products - Blistex revitalising cream and the body shop lipscuff. I have decided to use the body shop stuff first properly as the Blistex one you have to put on before bed etc and it is strong stuff, and im to tired at bedtime to fuss over my lips at the moment. PRODUCT The body shop lipscuff is basically a minty flavoured lip balm with small gritty pieces in it. You are supposed to use it like any other lip balm but the gritty pieces are meant to slough away dry flaking skin on your lips ...  Read the complete review

I've always loved this offering from the Body Shop. It fills me with nostalgia for my early teen years when I was discovering makeup. Needless to say it is the only product from then that I still use... *PACKAGING* I should point out that the lipscuff no longer looks like the picture above-the Body Shop revamped their makeup range (in fact many of their products) when taken over by L'Oreal, It now comes in a black twist tube with a shiny chrome effect slanted lid. In my opinion this packaging is more attractive, though the previous packaging (above) didn't put me off. The lid "clicks" on thanks to dents in the tube, like most lip sticks, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Body Shop Colourings Lipscuff: Get Lippy With Lip Exfoliator..............Lip Scuff (938 words)

At this time of year my lips become quite dry and flaky, and if I don't care for them they become very chapped and bleed at times. I have tried various lip balms and salves but nothing works for me, as the wetness of any balm seems to increase my chapped lips. Now I have found the perfect product, the body shop lip scuff. This will not cure my cracked lips but it certainly helps as it removes excess skin before it has the chance to crack in bad weather. PRODUCT The body shop lip scuff is basically a minty flavoured lip balm with small gritty pieces in it. These gritty pieces are there to help exfoliate any dead of flaky skin ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Scuff away (335 words)

I bought this product because I always seem to have a line of dry skin on my bottom lip which no matter what I do and how well moisturised my lips are it always comes back. It costs £7.80, so not cheap, but if it works then I think it's worth it. It comes in a really classy looking tube which is black with a shiny silver lid. It looks nothing like the picture above which presumably is the old packaging. It's the basic lipstick style tube which twists up from the bottom. To use it you just gently apply it to the lips, rub them together, then remove any residue with a tissue. The lipscuff is a minty green colour with little brown grains in ...  Read the complete review

I bought this 2 weeks ago from Body Shop in Nottingham. It cost me £7.20 (as I have a 'love your body' card). The usual price is £8. After reading several positive reviews myself, I decided to but the product. The instructions say to use every day for the first week, and then to continue using it once a week. Appearance wise it's very aesthetically pleasing, I particularly like lid. The image shown here I assume is the old packaging. It has the appearance on a lipstick, with a shiny metal lid with a slanted top. The actual product is a light green colour with brown exfoliating beads.
