Advantages: Moisturises
Disadvantages: Doesn't rid me of wrinkles
Coryse SALome multi vitamin cream
One of my latest "hold back the years" products, because although I wonder whether they will work i am still a sucker for results!
WHAT IT PROMISES...
This is apparently a complete and intensive beauty treatment to help to slow down the visible signs of ageing. It is, as are many of these products, based on an "exclusive" complex containing RNA and DNA fundamental cell comonents which contribute to cellular renewal. It promises to restore vitality and freshness to dull lifeless skin so that even tired taut skin will regain a radiant youthful appearance. Fine lines and wrinkles will be smoothed away and signs of ageing disappear.
A tall order for a small tub!!
PRODUCT AND PACKAGING...
The cram comes in a box with instructions and information on the back and inside the box is a small 50ml pot of the cream. The pot itself is breakable so careful on tiled floors, and has a screw on/off lid. The instruction leaflet inside the box gives information as well as the box, so it's as well to read it because the tub has no information apart from telling me that it suitable for all skin types.
I unscrew the lid to reveal the cream- creamy coloured with a very faint floral kind of smell but not overpowering and not unpleasant. The cream itself is quite thick but when I apply it to my skin, it is immediately absorbed and requires very little massaging in.
USING IT...
The instructions tell me to use it morning and night, in circular motions, and avoiding the eye area.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY...
The RRP is £25, but check out websites such as www.fragrancedirect.co.uk for big discounts, depending on whether the product is available.
OTHER PRODUCTS IN THE RANGE...
There are lots of products in this range, all based on the same principle of cellular renewal and including:
* Cream Cleanser
* Facial Exfoliating Gel
* Firming face cream
* Essential Face Cream
* Toner
The website, www.corysesalome.com gives lots of information about the different products.
VERDICT...
I bought this cream along with a few of the other products in the range because I have tried out lots of the well known brands, and decided to branch out, and have found myself impressed with it. The cream is nice and light when applied and doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky and it leaves no residue which I feel I have to wipe off. Non greasy, it is gentle and creamy enough to fully moisturise my skin and works under make up.
Although I think my wrinkles are beyond redemption, the cream does make my skin look brighter and less tired, so it must be doing something.
A recommended cream for anyone wanting a nice easy to apply moisturiser which does brighten skin and leaves it feeling nicely moisturised.
Thanks for reading.
