I have never really took a lot of notice of my hands. It's just the one thing I've never paid much attention of. I mean I bite my nails and the skin and really they are in a bad way! Every other inch of my skin is looked after, pampered and preened as you can tell by the majority of my other reviews so every now and I again I have a purge on my hands. I look for quick fix solutions. I'm not interested in products that 'over time' help. I'm not the sort of person who has time to chill and lather up my hands and relax with hand cream soaking in. I'm on the go. I want something easily absorbed, not greasy and doesn't need 'topping up' every hour. I want results and the ... Read the complete review

I suffer from very dry, sore, chapped skin in between my fingers during the winter and cold weather spells so I am always on the look out for effective hand creams to combat the effects of the harsh weather on my hands. - Price and Availability - I bought this from my local Home Bargains store for 99p for 75ml. - Packaging - A plastic tube with a screw top lid underneath which there is a small hole from which the cream is dispensed. I prefer tubs to tubes as you are guaranteed no waste, i.e. you can scrape the last remains of the cream from a tub, more difficult from a tube but not impossible if you cut it ... I recently used the Cuticura facial scrub and was so impressed that when I saw the hand cream I couldn't resist the temptation and bought it instantly. I can't resist a bargain and because the face scrub worked so well I had high hopes for their hand and nail cream. ** Cuticura ** Unbeknown to me Cuticura is actually a well found health and beauty brand which has been going since the 1800's! Apparently most famous for its talcum powder it recently seems to be better known for it antibacterial hand gel, which in lights of the recent Swine flu outbreaks it seems obvious now why I had seem the name. I have some of their hand gel on my desk at work!! ... Read the complete review

On one of my trips to Home Bargains I spotted this little tube of hand cream for only £1.00 for 75ml. Knowing how much of the stuff I use at work I thought this was a real bargain. The cream comes in a normal squeezy plastic tube which has the screw lid on the base so the cream is always at the bottom ready to use. The cream contains glycerine and allantoin (a botanical extract that increases smoothness, is a skin protectant, anti irritant and promotes healing), pro vitamin B5, and Vitamin E. The cream itself is basic white in colour and has a good consistency, the smell is a sort of pine citrus mix which it quite nice. It feels a bit greasy ... Read the complete review
