Advantages: Intensive formula, smells amazing
Disadvantages: Can be a little bit greasy
I like to keep a little pot of moisturizer in the bathroom as I tend to suffer from dry skin from time to time especially my knees, elbows and hands and I like to have something that gives fast relief.
I actually stumbled upon this moisturiser by mistake as I was looking for a small pot to take away with me in my hand luggage and picked up a travel size 30ml version for 49p in my local Bodycare shop. I was so impressed with it that when it ran out, I went and bought the full size version.
The moisturizer comes in a 150ml white and blue plastic tub and usually costs around £2.29 in Boots and Superdrug but if you're lucky you can sometimes pick it up in the discount stores for less.
The cream is an intensive formula that is specifically made for very dry skin. It is a very thick white coloured cream that at first impression can look somewhat unappealing as it reminds me a bit of Sudocrem.
The scent is typical Dove, clean with a hint of perfume and bit soapy but I absolutely love the smell of this stuff, it certainly smells a lot more expensive then it is (it definitely reminds me of a nice expensive perfume Bvlgari brought out a few years ago).
Despite the thick consistency it is remarkably easy to use, it melts into your skin with minimum effort but can leave your skin a little bit tacky for a while and can be a little bit greasy so I wouldn't recommend using it on your face unless you have very dry skin.
Having said that, after using is for a few days it has worked wonders on my dry knees and elbows. It delivers an instant hit of moisturisation and helps keep your skin smooth and supple and the lovely fragrance lingers for quite a while which makes you feel nice and pampered.
Summary: Recommended for dry skinned divas!
