Eve Lom Cleanser

Believe the hype. I have used all the branded and non branded cleansers over the years (Clinique, Guerlain, La Prairie, Shisheido and many many more). Eve Lom is by far the simplest and best. The weekly mini facial/massage option is a real treat and the daily routine of cleansing once in the evening is quick, easy and relaxing. My face is glowing, my wrinkles are less obvious and I have no break outs and my pores are far less obvious - nothing short of superb. I originally heard about Eve Lom cleanser from a friend who was staying over my house and brought this cleanser with her. I couldnt believe she paid £50 for it, but she sold it to me when she said her skin had never been in better condition. So after a shopping trip to Space NK and £50 lighter I decided to give it a go. Now, before I start this opinion I always like to say what type my skin is, so that people who are built differently can head off and read something more useful to them (while still of course registering mine as very useful... because in a way it was...) anyhow: I have mid twenties usually crappy oily skin that up until recently I was at war with. Let's cut to the chase - this cleanser isn't cheap. BUT, it's worth every penny. I swear, it cleanses everything, waterproof mascara, the lot, easily and without any pressure or feeling of tightness. It smells fantastic, it's calming if your skin's irritated or tender (see my Dr Hauschka review for evidence!), and it's just an amazing product. Truly. It is a univeral truth that cheap skincare is a false economy. I know this and still i try to save cash, but every time i do i get annoyed and disappointed and end up with a half bottle of crappy cleanser i don't like and end up spending the £38 i should have spent in the first place on this product. Eve Lom cleanser has a genuine cult following and I can see why. Not only is it nothing like any other cleanser -it's a buttery consistency which melts on your skins rather than a liquid, but it really works.
