Believe the hype. I have used all the branded and non branded cleansers over the years (Clinique, Guerlain, La Prairie, Shisheido and many many more). Eve Lom is by far the simplest and best. The weekly mini facial/massage option is a real treat and the daily routine of cleansing once in the evening is quick, easy and relaxing. I originally heard about Eve Lom cleanser from a friend who was staying over my house and brought this cleanser with her. I couldnt believe she paid £50 for it, but she sold it to me when she said her skin had never been in better condition. So after a shopping trip to Space NK and £50 lighter I decided to give it a go. It had a strange smell but not offensive in any way and is a kind of pale green/yellow colour. Its consistancy looks quite thick and has small particles in it but these particles soften up and melt as soon as you put in on your skin and so I wouldnt say it exfoliates very well because of this. Now, before I start this opinion I always like to say what type my skin is, so that people who are built differently can head off and read something more useful to them (while still of course registering mine as very useful... because in a way it was...) anyhow: I have mid twenties usually crappy oily skin that up until recently I was at war with.
