Is it worth the hype? - I think so (Eve Lom Cleanser)

Advantages: wonderful clean exfoliated skin, muslin cloth included

Disadvantages: expensive at £50

Blimey I seem to like the more expensive products out there!

I have dry skin that is exposed to the elements through my outdoors hobbys and also though car heaters/air conditioning. Ive tried many cleansers targeted at dry skin and in the main my skin is left feeling like ive had a face lift!

I bought this cleanser in Space NK (what a fabulous shop!) as part of a travel set, really so I could try several of their products at once without having to commit my self to the rather scary £50 price tag for the full sized pot.

The cleanser is solid and does have a weird but not unpleasant smell. All pots including the travel size come with the muslin cloth.

The basics are: take small amount of cleanser, apply across face, wash off with warm muslin cloth using circular motions. You can do a mini facial by applying the cleanser, putting the warm cloth across your face for 5 secs, reheating cloth in warm water & repeating this 3 times.

Your face feels amazing afterwards! As this cleansing process takes care of the exfoliating as well you can feel smug that you daily complete 2 steps of a good regime in one step!

There is no doubt that the muslin cloth makes this cleanser more special, but it is the combination of both that give you a gloriously clean face. If you dont want to spend £50 on Eve Lom cleanser then get yourself a muslin cloth from body shop & use with your current cleanser; not the same experience by a long chalk but i guarantee you'll notice your skin being cleaner.

Summary: well worth the hype face cleanser
