Advantages: Leaves your skin glowing

Disadvantages: Expensive for what it is ( but will last a while ) and can block pores depending on your skin type.

This product has a somewhat cult following and has been raved about for years. I have friends who would never be without it, some have combination skin, some have dry skin. I have combination skin, prone to breakouts, but my skin didn't like it. It clogged my pores and so although my skin from a distance glowed a bit more from using this product, up close my pores seemed like the size of oranges and were blocked. Ugh!
The product is quite economical as you don't need very much to cleanse your skin. I used a spatula to scoop out a little and then warmed it in my hands. Once it was liquified somewhat, I would apply all over the face.
The cleanser is then removed by the cloth that is included when you purchase a tub. ( Like the Liz Earle muslin cloth, it is best dipped in warm water and drained until nearly dry for the best result.) Admittedly, your skin does glow after using this product but the blocked pores lessened the positive effect. Some of the ingredients are known for their pore-blocking results on certain skin types so this may not be for you if you suffer from blocked pores in general. However, I have friends who swear that their pores have never been clearer since using this, so go figure.

For the ingredients of the cleanser, it's a very expensive product. However, because you don't need much the actual usage is quite economical. If you have normal skin, you have a good chance of seeing positive results, but it's not for everyone.

Summary: There are products with better quality ingredients around.However, it's still winning awards
