Advantages: Works on even London grime

Disadvantages: Pricey!

It is a univeral truth that cheap skincare is a false economy. I know this and still i try to save cash, but every time i do i get annoyed and disappointed and end up with a half bottle of crappy cleanser i don't like and end up spending the £38 i should have spent in the first place on this product.

Eve Lom cleanser has a genuine cult following and I can see why. Not only is it nothing like any other cleanser -it's a buttery consistency which melts on your skins rather than a liquid, but it really works. The paste is slightly grainy and the muslin cloth you use to remove it really exfoliates your skin. The cloth is so much more environmentally friendly than anything you throw out everyday -when mine gets grubby i pop it in the washer and it comes up great. This is the only thing I have even found which cleans all the London dirt off my face and leaves it fresh and bright.

The pot lasts for ages - I have often used the travel kit with two of the tiny pots in and they have lasted me weeks.

You can buy it from Space NK or there is now Eve Lom counters in John Lewis in Oxford Street and Selfridges. I would highly recommend.

Summary: A great product - expensive but good value

It took me a while to learn that one -but it's true! Maybe I should have said "It should be...". Half finished pots are not value for money!
